Mortal Kombat 1

I used to bike miles to a 7-11 that had the arcade version of the first Mortal Kombat. When the console version came out, I played it nonstop. I did the same thing with its sequel and the sequel after that, which my friends and I rented out a local arcade to play literally all night long.

If you told me as a kid that I’d compose music for that series, I wouldn’t have believed you. That’s why I’m so incredibly, thrilled, honored and humbled to announce that I composed music for Mortal Kombat 1! You’ll hear my contributions in several stages in-game.

I think this is some of the most melodically complex and hard-hitting music I’ve done to date. So excited for it to be out in the world.

I composed music for these stages: Tarkatan Colony, The Great Hall, The Gateway & The Hourglass -
